DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ACIENT AND MODERN EDUCATION The ancient method of education is the primitive method of education, whereas modern education is the new method of education. In traditional education system students are gathered under a single roof at a specific time and place. The advantages of traditional education system are punctuality of students, social interactions, extra curricular activities and face to face conversations. Also there are some disadvantages of traditional education system such as generalized learning, passive listeners, no flexibility of time, expensive and teacher centred learning. Modern education is mainly online. Online learning favours independent learning methods. Advantages of modern education are low cost, flexibility of time, distant education and student centred learning.
