 DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ACIENT AND MODERN EDUCATION

 The ancient method of education is the primitive method of education, whereas modern education is the new method of education. 

In traditional education system students are gathered under a single roof at a specific time and place. The advantages of traditional education system are punctuality of students, social interactions, extra curricular activities and face to face conversations. Also there are some disadvantages of traditional education system such as generalized learning, passive listeners, no flexibility of time, expensive and teacher centred learning. 

Modern education is mainly online. Online learning favours independent learning methods. Advantages of modern education are low cost, flexibility of time, distant education and student centred learning. Some disadvantages of modern education system are lack of social interaction, there is chance to get distracted, and learners get isolated.

Conclusion :-

• Traditional education is costly as course books, tuition fees etc.. sum up to a large amount of money as compared to online education. 
• Online learners are able to learn courses offered by different institute at the same time, whereas traditional education holds the learners back as able to learn only a single course at a time.
• In traditional education exams are conducted after a period and are manually evaluated, whereas in online education test is conducted after each topic with automated evaluation.
• Also an online learning there are unlimited sources of learning material, whereas in traditional learning student's knowledge is limited to that taught by teacher and that in the books.
